It’s almost time to register for Kindergarten! East Aurora School District 131 will begin online registration on Thursday, February 1, 2024 for students entering Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year .

The EASD 131 Kindergarten program offers dual-language instruction for all students and has become among the most valuable and sought out programs in the State of Illinois. All children district-wide will have the opportunity to learn in English and Spanish.

Beginning February 1, parents can visit www.d131.org/kinder-register to complete online registration.

To register for kindergarten, a student must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2024. Two (2) ways for parents/guardians to register: online or in-person. See in-person registration events below.

During registration, parents must provide the following documents:

• Child’s certified birth certificate
• Photo ID of parent/legal guardian
• Three (3) proofs of address

In-Person Registration Events:

• Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9 AM – 12 PM at Allen Elementary School, 700 S. Farnsworth Ave. Aurora, 60505
• Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 9 AM – 12 PM at Benavides STEAM Academy, 250 E. Indian Trail Rd. Aurora, 60505
• Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 9 AM – 12 PM at Bardwell Elementary School, 550 S. Lincoln Ave. Aurora, 60505

Students registering online will get scheduled for language screening. Students attending in-person registration events will get language screening at the event. Backpacks will be given to students at the registration events and be entered for a chance to win raffles!
